Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons to photograph. The intensity of color and tone, the sun hanging a bit lower throughout the day, and the urge to grab something slightly warmer for the chill that evening brings, are all elements that enchant me as we turn to winter.
Having photographed and visited the Gramercy Mansion many times over the years, I know that it is an amazing venue to watch the autumn waltz in. I was very excited when I first talked with Leigh Anne and Fred, as they revealed their vision of the day, complete with a few of my favorite things. Over some planning sessions, I gained a true feeling of their bond and relationship, how they talked about and embraced the day as it approached. I felt the excitement of their wedding and took inspiration from the surrounding beauty of the grounds at Gramercy. Bonny Opper and Chef’s Expressions provided their standard high quality service and food, and Raimondi’s put together the stunning floral arrangements. Below are a few of our favorites here at Jackson photography.
