It was a spectacular day in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon Place, not far from our couple’s historic neighborhood and just a few steps form the George Peabody Library, site of their wedding.
Their ceremony “in the round” allowed for guests to be seated very close to our couple and they positioned themselves so that guests saw their faces… this created a very intimate feeling for all.
The veil and cord ceremony is a Filipino wedding tradition at the end of the wedding. Pictured here, the veil sponsors place a white veil over the shoulders of the couple, symbolizing living under God’s protection and being clothed as one.
As beautiful as the Peabody Library space is, creativity with up lighting and accent lights can dramatically change the look and feel of the room. Note the differences from the ceremony to the reception.
Karl had a surprise song for his bride, and he was terrific!
