Chase Court is a magical place in the heart of Baltimore. It features lush gardens and historic architecture with intricate details. But if you add a beautiful couple, lots of sunshine coupled with a nice breeze, a little bit of lilac and a whole lot of love and laughter into the mix, it takes it to a whole new level. Surrounded by family and close friends, Ciera and Amir said, “I do” on a recent spring afternoon.

Karen and Mike had a memorable lush wedding a few summers ago at the historic Engineer’s Club here in Baltimore. Their pink and green colors meshed perfectly with the bright blue sunny sky and the dark antique interior of the Engineer’s Club. I remember seeing the pictures for the first time and noting how joyful and relaxed the whole occasion was while still maintaining a classic and formal look. So it was no surprise that when it came time to design their wedding album, Karen and Mike were just as easy going and cheerful as the photographs had previously conveyed. Meg loved her time as a resident in Baltimore’s new Harbor East. Spectacular views, great food, entertainment and much more is right there. In fact, Ben proposed to Meg just a few steps away from her apartment building. We covered a lot of ground on our photo session, starting with (what else?) a giant crab!

This wet spring is bad news – good news. We postponed our engagement shoot several times due to inclement weather but Stephanie was determined to be outside at the remarkable Longwood Gardens. The good news is that she got her wish and the extra rain made everything all the more lush! Being surrounded by beauty brings out the romantic in us all, I love to see a couple show their affection for one another.
