For candid and casual portrait sessions, Boordy Vineyards is a quintessential location. The drive to the vineyard from the city allows the mind to calm as the urban highway becomes farmland. A relaxing environment, it is one full of timeless structure and rural charm.
Later this month Meghan and Greg get married at the Shrine of the Scared Heart, a true gem with an amazing interior. Following the ceremony, we will head downtown Mount Vernon, the location of their engagement. The reception will be at the Peabody Library, a favorite venue of mine. In talking with Meghan and Greg, we decided Boordy would be the perfect location to meet and photograph. I like the contrast of location between the portrait session and the wedding day; this allows another chapter to be shown in a different light, yet still keeping true to the character of the couples I am so lucky to work with.
