Jackson Photography is the exclusive on-site photography team for ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition for the Baltimore episode. The show is being taped in mid-July and will be broadcast in September. The show helps a family in need by renovating or constructing a house over a short seven-day period. Amazing! In Baltimore’s case, the recipient is Boy’s Hope Girl’s Hope, a charitable organization that helps children in need that have promising academic potential. The new 11,000+ square foot group home is the largest undertaken by the show. All local participants from the builder to everyone else on the job volunteer their time and materials. Everyone from Jackson Photography gave generously of their talent and I want to thank Isabell Triemer, Laurent Hrybyk, and Phil Weber for joining me in this great work! I also want to thank Larry Canner, a friend and colleague for the many hours he gave for additional coverage needs.
Day One is where the lucky recipients get a surprise visit by Ty Pennington at the “Door Knock”. Since there was no door to knock, the event occurred at the Inner Harbor. Seven girls currently in the program were the ones to get the surprise.

Work proceeded into the night and around the clock. The main structure consisted of modular units constructed by Excel Homes at their Pennsylvania plant and assembled on-site here in Baltimore.
